The fashion brand Mulberry England selected one of Eleri's artwork 'Y Winllan / Ancestral Landscape' as the key image for their New York Flagship showcase pop-up at the Nordstorm store in February this year. The display will tour to Texas, California and San Fransisco.
Eleri Mills lives and works in rural Mid Wales, where she was born and brought up. She has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad including the Museums of Modern Art Kyoto and Tokyo, Museu Textil d’Indumentaria, Barcelona and the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, Madrid.
In 2010 Eleri won the Arts Council of Wales’ Creative Wales Ambassador award followed by a three month residency in New York at Columbia University and a showing at SOFA NYC (the international art fair for Sculpture, Objects and Functional Art) at Park Avenue Armory.
Eleri was awarded The Glyndŵr Medal in 2023 – and award given by The Machynlleth Tabernacle Trust annually since1994 for outstanding contribution to the arts in Wales (previous winners include Sir Kyffin Williams, poet Gillian Clarke and composer Karl Jenkins).
Her work is featured in national collections which include the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, Y Gaer Museum and Art Gallery, Brecon, and the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Mae Eleri Mills yn byw ac yn gweithio yn Nyffryn Banwy, ble cafodd ei geni a'i magu. Mae hi wedi arddangos yn eang yn y DU a thramor yn cynnwys Amgueddfeydd Celfyddyd Modern Kyoto a Tokyo, Museu Textil d'Indumentaria, Barcelona a'r Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, Madrid.
Yn 2010 fe enillodd Wobr Llysgenad Cymru, Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru gyda phreswyliad o dri mis ym Mhrifysgol Columbia Efrog Newydd ac chyfle i ymddangos yn SOFA NYC (y ffair gelf ryngwladol - Sculpture, Objects and Functional Art) yn Park Avenue Armory.
Dyfarnwyd y Fedal Glyndŵr i Eleri yn 2023 – gwobr a roddir yn flynyddol gan Ymddiriedolaeth Tabernacl Machynlleth ers 1994 am gyfraniad eithriadol i’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru (mae’r enillwyr blaenorol yn cynnwys Syr Kyffin Williams, y bardd Gillian Clarke a’r cyfansoddwr Karl Jenkins).
Mae Eleri wedi arddangos gyda Chanolfan Grefft Rhuthun yn 'Collect' ffair gelf y Cyngor Crefftau o 2004 tan 2008 yn Amgueddfa Victoria ag Albert ac yn ddiweddarach yn 2017 a 2018 yn Oriel Saatchi, Llundain.
Mae ei gwaith celf mewn casgliadau cenedlaethol sy'n cynnwys yr Oriel Gelf Whitworth, Manceinion, Oriel Genedlaethol yr Alban, Caeredyn a Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru, Aberystwyth.
