FLORA

8 March - 6 April 2025

An eclectic collection of works by our gallery and invited artists that draw inspiration from the intricate and diverse world of Flora

FLORA will be the first of what will become an annual themed exhibition at Celf Gallery. The exhibition will have a different theme each year and include work by both our gallery artists and invited artists whose work fits the brief and distinguishes itself from others. This years exhibition will feature an eclectic collection of works that draw inspiration from the intricate and diverse world of Flora.

Flora has always been a rich source of inspiration for artists. With over 40 works on display, the exhibition celebrates the profound impact of flora on artistic expression, and reveals the myriad ways that flowers are depicted in art. The diverse range of techniques and styles on display highlights each artist's unique interpretation of flora.

The exhibition includes work by gallery artists Shani Rhys James, Kevin Sinnott, Harry Holland, Clive Hicks-Jenkins, Vivienne Williams, Sigrid Muller, Annette Townsend, Angharad Pearce Jones, Catrin Williams, and Philip Archer, in addition to visiting artist Clarissa Galliano, Sue Hunt, Lynne Cartlidge and Louise Young.

Own Art is available for the purchase of work.
